Today is the first of December, surprisingly, this year has gone absolutely nowhere. We've entered Summer here in New Zealand and the last two days have been averaging around 30 degrees Celsius outside and I'm sweltering. It's also shocking for me to find that my last post was nearly an entire year ago! Wow! Sorry for not keeping anyone updated about the awesome happenings in my life.
Okay, my latest achievement has to be the very arduous level 95 Runecrafting, which I have been training the slow way (I hate doing things the typical way...) As I like to watch TV while playing, I've found a very nice and safe way to train Runecrafting, where I'm not likely to be killed by any NPCs and I am able to make some very decent cash along the way, especially with the current GE prices of Astral Runes. Here's a YouTube video I made a while back which outlines the process I have been undertaking:
I've had an interesting year, with the IRL achievement of a degree in information technology as well as obtaining a new job in the IT field, which I start on the fifth of this month. I was also very lucky this year to meet some of my favourite authors at an event held here in New Zealand. To name some: Tess Gerritsen, John Hart, Alix Bosco, Paul Cleave, Paddy Richardson and Neil Cross. After meeting Neil, I went and watched the TV series 'Luther' which he is the creator and writer of. It's now listed as one of my favourite shows and I can't wait for an update on the third series, which I hope will be produced.
I know from my last post that I predicted I'd have at least 99 Runecrafting by the end of the year, but it's honestly not going to happen, I've just been too busy with real world stuff to get the chance to play. From my now revised time calculations (which are just estimates at best) I don't think I'll achieve 99 until May 2012.
Anyway, I'm going to carry on playing now, I'll definitely post again soon,
Adam.
