With my exams done and my year nearly over (bar a few assignments), I am now officially on holiday for around two months, which I am so looking forward to.
So… you may ask. ‘What do you have planned for your holidays Adam?’ Well, obviously we have a Runescape player on our hands. So hide yo’ staffs, hide yo’ whips and hide yo’ dragon scimitars, ‘cause I’ll be doin’ all the playing out here…
^^ The funny thing is that I plan to spend an excessive amount of time glued to my computer, attempting to get my old ranking back (43,000 overall), which is going to take so much work that I can only begin to think about it. In the last fortnight I’ve fallen into the 100,000 overall ranking status, which completely disgusts me. I have been playing this game for approximately five years now and I am still getting beaten by a considerable amount of players. How do they manage to do it?
So, to begin with, I plan on getting 99 Magic before Christmas actually hits. I need to gain about 2.7M Magic experience, which shouldn’t really take that much time. I’m hoping I actually get this in about a fortnight. I’ve been doing high-alchs up ‘till now, but once I reach level 97ish I’ll flick over and turn logs into planks.
Once I have assembled this collection of planks I’ll turn them into Construction experience. I’m sort of hoping that I can hit mid-80s with the experience that I should gain. (It’s such an expensive skill to train that I try to do it in smaller quantities, so that I don’t notice my dwindling bank balance.) I’m sort of looking forward to training this skill as I quite like construction and later I’d like to do some Prayer training, so having an up market house will certainly help matters when it comes to gaining additional prayer experience.
Other skills to train to raise me back to my former glory are a couple of the new ones, which I haven’t actually bothered to train that much. I don’t mind doing a little bit of Hunter, and I know that once I get up to the Red Chinchompa (sp???) level, that I’m going to make a tidy profit too! I also need to address my summoning level and my non-existent Dungoneering level, which I’m hoping won’t be too hard to gain. Training all of these levels should give me a bit of an overall boost, as well as me investing a little more time into combat-related skills and possibly some slayer???
Anyway, I’ll post another update soon when I’ll be obtaining that elusive 99 Magic.
‘Till then,
Adam.
